HER EXCELLENCY REVEREND PASTOR DENISE NKURUNZIZA PARTICIPATED IN THE EXHIBITION IN ANKARA, CAPITAL CITY OF TURKEY



Warmly welcomed by the Burundi Ambassador and Turkish Officials in Ankara, the capital city of the Republic of Turkey, Her Excellency Reverend Pastor Denise Nkurunziza, First Lady of the Republic of Burundi participated to inaugural ceremonies launched by an exhibition of cultural products and handicrafts presented under the project "Craft market and House of African Culture”, this Wednesday, May 25th, 2016 at 15:00.
This exhibition was the initiative of Her Excellency Emine ERDOĞAN, Spouse of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The First Ladies of Africa who attended to this exhibition are from Burundi, Ethiopia, Gambia, Uganda, Somalia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and Mali.
According to the First Lady of Turkey, products made from African countries will be sold in that Turkish cultural center without profit and the income of its sales will be delivered to African women to contribute to the budget of their families as well as to the education of children and the fight against diseases.
In this exhibition, the Burundian products were more appreciated than others because almost all the items were purchased.
